Operation Final Mission

TriStar Cremation’s Operation Final Mission is a program through which we honor our active duty and veteran military and first responder communities as well as their legally married spouses and dependent children. We are proud to offer a discount on cremation services as well as specially priced merchandise packages through our Operation Final Mission program.

Another part of the OFM program is our Retired Flags of Honor. We have set up a collection site at our TriStar Cremation location at 4962 Lebanon Pike, Old Hickory, TN 37138, where people are free to donate flags which are ready to be retired. We then use these flags to honor our veterans and first responders who have chosen cremation. Each veteran or first responder’s cremation container is draped with a retired flag for the cremation process. We feel this is a great way to honor the veteran for their service and simultaneously provide the flag with proper disposal according to flag code. Prior to the cremation process, our staff will remove a star from the flag to place on a certificate which will then be presented to the family as a commemorative keepsake from the flag which honored their loved one.
