Morris Estes

Morris Ward Estes, age 75, passed away at his home with his family beside him and went to his heavenly home April 18th 2023 after an extended illness. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn Estes, devoted son Brian Estes, sister-in-law Patricia Stacey, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by father Horace Estes, mother Ann Ward Estes, and brother Horace D. Estes. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 18, 1947, Morris graduated from Maplewood high school in 1967. He retired from Aladdin Industries after 32 years of service and O'Reilly Auto Parts after 12 years. Morris was a big Titans and Braves fan. He enjoyed seeing the Rolling Stones and Paul Mccartney concerts with Brian and attending Vanderbilt sporting events with him. He also loved to travel and go on cruises with his family. Morris enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in the yard. He was a quiet man who loved the Lord and had a great sense of humor. Most of all, Morris enjoyed being with his family and caring for them. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
