Dalon Ray Cope, Sr.

03/1940-09/2022

Dalon Ray Cope, Sr., passed away in the afternoon of September 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Mary Cope, son Dalon Ray Cope, Jr., sister Carolyn Cope Wilson.

Dalon is survived by his wife of 42 years Patricia Wilson Cope, son Richard Felts (Kim Carver Felts) and daughter Wendy Felts Johnson. His Grandchildren Lorin Felts Brown (Brad Brown), Madisyn Felts, Keaton Johnson, Jansen Carver and Olivia Carver, One Great Granddaughter Claire Brown and his nephews Keith and Kevin Vaughn and children.

Dalon was a Navy Veteran from 1958-1962 and was stationed on the USS Essex.

His wishes were to be creamated and he will placed at a Veterans Cemetery. We are having a Celebration of Life on  Sunday October 2nd from 2pm to 5pm at:

First United Methodist Church
