Peggy Roberson. Age 73, passed away December 11 th , 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Peggy was born to Dan Sesler and Edna Gussmann in 1946. She graduated from White House High School in 1964. She began her career as a secretary for a local business where she learned the skills to advance into management for a local attorney's office. She was a member of the National Legal Secretaries Association where she was selected as Vice President for one term and was also awarded Legal Secretary of the year in 1983-84. After spending most of her professional career in the legal field she moved on to work her final years in accounting for a local family owned greenhouse where she would retire from. Peggy was married to Leland Roberson for 48 years before his passing in 2016. In this time she was known as a loving mother to Kevin and Leanne, mother-in-law to Dale and Heather, and granny to Abigail, Bella, Lucas, and Brady. Besides her love to spend time with family and friends, Peggy had a passion for traveling. Some of her favorite places to visit were the Mid West, New York City, New Orleans, and St. Martin. In addition to traveling she also loved being creative. She dabbled in painting, odd and end crafting and ultimately found her passion for creating beautiful pieces of jewelry using beading and the Kumihimo braiding technique. Peggy was a Christian woman with a bubbly sparkling personality that drew you in and made you feel like family. Her silly, spunky, smiling personality will be missed by all but we will take her with us all the days of our life. Rest In Peace sweet angel. Please join the family in celebration of Peggy's life at Goodlettsville Church of Christ on Monday, December 16 th , 2019. Visitation is from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Celebration of life Service is 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Burial service will be held on Tuesday, December 17 th , 2019 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram TN promptly at 10:00am.
