Pamela Jo Kelly Blair, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2020. Pam was a faithful servant of the Lord, a mighty prayer warrior, and the most loving and compassionate woman you could imagine. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was well loved by all who knew her.
Pam worked for General Motors for many years at the Willow Run plant in Ypsilanti, MI. After the plant closed, James and Pam moved to Tennessee where they embarked on more than 25 years of full time ministry. This is where she found her calling and her passion.
Born August 21, 1955 in Ypsilanti, MI to Palmer and Gertrude (Rose) Kelly, she was the devoted wife of Pastor James E. Blair. She was the adored mother of five children, Richard Blair and Kelly Blair of Ypsilanti, MI, Kimberly Blair Hill (Brian) of Collinsville, VA, Jessica Gorham Webb (Scott) of Cleveland, TN, and Kenneth Gorham, Jr. (Anastasia) of Winter Garden, FL. Pam was the cherished Grandmother of Megan and Tyler Webb, Tristan and Taylor Hill, and Carson and Eden Gorham. She also leaves behind a loving sister, Angela Benard (Rick) of Rochester Hills, MI, brother Patrick Kelly of Houston, TX, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Kelly of Wake Forest, NC, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Many friends from the congregation she loved with her whole heart from Path Way Church of God, where she served as a dedicated Pastor’s wife for the past 13 years, grieve her loss with the family.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alfred and Mark Kelly as well as her niece, Shannon Kelly.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 4 p.m. at the Path Way Church of God with Pastor Carol Harville officiating.
