Megan Workman

Megan Alaine Myers Workman, age 28, born April 22, 1989, and died Thursday, November 2, 2017. She is survived by her Husband Jon Workman of Oceana, West Virginia; Mother and Stepfather, Lisa and Steve Kirtland of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Father and Stepmother, Dan and Tina Myers of Smyrna, Tennessee; Sister and Her Husband, Samantha and Marc Haeglin of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Nephew, Logan Clark Haegelin of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Grandparents, Buddy and Mary Dale Clark of LaVergne, Tennessee; Grandmother, Jean Highfill of Hermitage, Tennessee; and many other Aunts, Uncles and friends. She served in the US Army’s 101st. Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky from 2010-2015, as an Avionics Mechanic, and served two tours of duty in Afghanistan. She graduated from LaVergne High School and studied at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to the Wounded Warriors Association.
