Lala Sisco

Lala Salazar Sisco, a resident of Hendersonville, passed away July 31,2020.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Trinidad & Viviano Salazar; her husband Earl Lee Sisco, her sisters and brothers, Bennerita Salazar Griffith, Amalia M. Kornegay, Jose Salazar, and Francisco Salazar, all of Albuquerque.She is survived by her siblings Lucy Petrocelli, Anthony Salazar, and Mary Cartwright.She will be dearly missed by her loving daughters and grandaughters, Janet Lynn Sisco, Anita Joan Sisco, Gloria Jean Sisco, Angelica Nicole Sisco, Nastasia Diamond Sisco, her grandson Marcus Cruz Dehlwes, and great-grandsons, Raiden, and Everett Sisco.Lala was a long time member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville.Lala was a simple woman who loved her family more than any earthly possessions.
She enjoyed reminiscing about childhood with her siblings. Lala retained a joyous, creative spirit and a childlike wonder about the world that was beautiful to behold.We all know how much Lala loved hugs, so all who wish to honor her life are invited to hug their loved ones extra tight tonight. It is what she would have wanted.
