John Ruch

John Edward Ruch, 65, went home to be with the Lord on July 15. John was born in Binghamton, New York on September 13, 1954. He joined the Navy in 1975. He served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1984, after being wounded in the line of duty. He was awarded the Purple Heart twice. John loved his family, his country, his five Yorkies, Notre Dame Football, Civil War history, Abraham Lincoln, and visiting Gettysburg. He is survived by his wife, Dianna, sons Joseph and Christopher, daughters Jamie Morse, Carrie Loos, Kelsey Shue and numerous grandchildren. Services will be held at the Donelson Fellowship Church, 3210 McGavock Pike, TN 37214, on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Visitation at 10:00 to 12:00 with services following.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Donelson Fellowship Church, 3210 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.
