Clarence A. Lambert, better known as Shorty, age 74, of Pomeroy, Ohio lost his battle to Dementia on December 20th, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born to Pete Sr. and Liddie Booth in Mason, West Virginia August 24th, 1944. He was lovingly raised by Drexal and Edith Lambert in Rutland, Ohio. Shorty is survived and missed by his wife of 53 years Sally Williams Lambert residing in Nashville Tennessee, daughters: Natalie Stark (Kenneth) of Nashville, Tennessee, Donna Lambert (Todd Hicks) of Mobile, Alabama, Grandchild Alexandra Stark of Nashville Tennessee. Clarence was preceded by parents Drexal and Edith Lambert, siblings Franklin Booth, Pete Booth Jr, Ralph Booth, Betty Lou Booth survived by siblings Margaret Welch, Judy Snowden, and James Lambert along with countless nieces and nephews.
Shorty retired from Texas Eastern after many years as a pipeline operator. Shorty enjoyed grouse hunting with his Brittany spaniels, golfing, country dancing with his wife Sally and his many friends, boating, camping, fishing, gardening and home improvement projects. He was an active member of the Ruffed Grouse Society and the NRA for many years.
Private memorial service will held in Tennessee with wife and children. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shorty's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
